Passive intelligence only

We query public breach catalogs, credential-collection indexes and stealer-log statistics. Nothing we do touches the subject, and no one is ever notified that a check was run.

k-anonymity passwords

Password checks hash your input in your browser with SHA-1 and send only a 5-character prefix. Your password never leaves your device — not even hashed in full.

We show less, never guess

Findings are only shown when a source actually returned them. We never display plaintext passwords, and we never infer facts that our sources did not corroborate.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Exposure Check FAQ

Is this check really free?

Yes. Guests get 3 free checks per day with no signup; registered accounts get more. A paid Deep Exposure Report (full HTML + PDF with linked-account footprint, exposed-field breakdown and a remediation plan) is available as a one-time purchase — but the instant check itself is free forever.

Will the person be notified if I check their email?

No. 2MNY Trace is fully passive: we query existing public intelligence indexes and never contact anyone. Checks are silent, and we recommend using this tool for your own identifiers or for fraud-defense review of business assets.

Why won't you show leaked passwords in plaintext?

Dispensing other people's plaintext credentials is both a legal hazard and unnecessary: knowing that a password leaked, where it leaked and which fields were exposed tells you exactly what to change — without 2MNY becoming a password shop. For your own password, the k-anonymity check tells you how many times it appears in known breach corpora without the password ever leaving your browser.

What is the difference between breach data and stealer logs?

Breach data comes from hacked companies (site dumps, credential stuff collections like COMB). Stealer logs come from malware-infected machines: info-stealers harvest every saved password, cookie and crypto wallet on a victim's computer. If your identifier appears in stealer statistics, treat every account linked to that machine as compromised and rotate credentials urgently.
