How to Renew an Expired SSL Certificate
Step-by-step guide to renewing an expired SSL certificate using Let's Encrypt.
If your SSL certificate has expired, visitors will see a security warning.
## Using Certbot (Let's Encrypt)
1. Install Certbot: apt install certbot python3-certbot-nginx
2. Renew: certbot renew
3. Test auto-renewal: certbot renew --dry-run
## Using cPanel
1. Log into cPanel
2. Go to SSL/TLS status
3. Click Run AutoSSL
## After Renewal
- Restart your web server
- Clear any CDN cache
- Verify with our SSL checker
